Apollo Capsule in Houston

This is a picture of an Apollo descent module, now displayed in the Space Center in Houston. This is the part of the Apollo craft that came back to land in the sea, bringing the crew back from the moon. The Soyuz is built along similar lines, but it is designed to land on the desert. The Apollo capsule is quite a bit larger than the Soyuz... those guys got to lie out almost flat, while we have to stay cramped up with bent legs.
