This picture shows one of the centrifuges of Star City in use. Inside, a cosmonaut is being tested by specialists who monitor heart and breathing rate, as well as the level of accuracy of his actions. During these tests the level of g-forces rarely exceeds 4 g's. The medical tests require 8 g's.
